2IDEAL SIZE MADE OUT OF JUNKOct 11, 2010

It is just a shame that something so useful and really ideal in concept is made out of particle board trash. It will hold just as much as you see in its images but don't expect it to last. Three of the fence boards came apart as I attempted to dial in the screws!

It makes a handy neat orderly array out of your laundry, plumbing and or pesticide products but plan on buying another and another every couple of years or so. That wouldn't be too outrageous given its low price tag but who feels like assembling these sawdust furniture items again and again?

I know I don't want to.

If you are going to get it anyway buy only from firms which make returns or refunds a breeze. The Amazon seller requires pictures of the damage before they'll arrange a refund. That's fair but I had packed it up rather perfectly before finding out that that was their rule. Cymax for $41 and the ebay seller offering it, upperfurniture_inc, don't require any such CIA proof!

4FITS THE SPOT!Oct 29, 2010
By Honey Ryan
My washer and dryer are butted together, but I still had that sliver of space between the dryer and the wall. I am so excited that it fits the spot perfectly and holds the overflow from my laundry room cabinet. I have only two criticisms: the instructions for putting it together need a bit more explanation and/or clarity; and it would be nice to have the sides of at least one of the shelves a little taller.

5Practical, Smart Storage for Laundry Room OrganizationAug 28, 2010
By T. L. Tuttle
We live in a small bungalow, and our laundry room is in a bright, well-designed section of our garage. Space, however, is at a premium. This cart solves many problems neatly and cleanly. Our caddy arrived within 7 days, flat-packed in a single heavy box. Assembly was simple enough that my 3-year-old helped with it; the job was complete within a half-hour. The quality of the piece is about what I'd expect, heavy white MDF, plastic wheels, plastic minimalist matching white handle (I substituted a nicer-looking nickel handle to match my laundry units, but I'm picky that way). The unit holds a jug of detergent positioned sideways for pouring, a box of dryer sheets and a couple of bottles of spray-stain remover. The other two shelves are handy for storage of back-up soaps and cleansers, and it all tucks handily away between my units for a clean look. At this heavily discounted price, a worthy investment.

3It's ok... think I could have gotten something better for the priceDec 29, 2011

It fits and does it's job (that's the part I'm happy with), but I have some comments about it's construction

The caddy is made out of low end pressed wood, and some of that wood is exposed in the bottom areas so I'm concerned about moisture eating away over time, and also screws go straight into the wood, so be careful while tightening as they will easily eat away the thread inside the panel... I ended up having to improvise with a couple otherwise the screw would have been left lose, and the whole thing would have been unstable... I don't claim to be an expert building these things, but I've had my fair share of putting desks and other household items together and the construction on this one is simply lower end :(

More on the subject...
The floor on the shelves is made out of carton... again, being this is a laundry and there's liquid everywhere I don't see this lasting very long (but I could be wrong).

On the other hand, once it is assembled, it looks nice and the spacing between the shelves is enough to accommodate most detergents (except extra large boxes like the ones you buy at Costco, BJ's or SAMs)...

A recommendation to the manufacturer would be: use better basic materials, these caddys are pricey, they could easily make them out of higher grade wood and switch the shelves to wood, plastic composite or fiberglass and use fittings to bring this together so screws don't destroy the wood the first day... all that and still make a profit even at the current price point (I went to Lowes and Home Depot, looked up how much it would take to build one at retail prices and still came out ahead...)

At the end of the day, I did finish putting it together, it did fit just fine between the washer and dryer, and I didn't feel like returning it... so now we just wait and see...
