"One out of five doctors"
I wanted some sort of hideaway space for my kitchen trash. The fact that this had a granite top was just icing. They also make a slightly less expensive one with a plain wood top, FYI. Took about an hour and a half to assemble. No missing parts, and the instructions were adequate. However, the drawers were nearly impossible, since the backplane piece was milled too thick to fit into the provided slot; consequently, I actually cracked all three drawers trying to insert it. Got them fixed up with some glue and clamps, and no one will see those cracks given their location, but still, a sign of substandard machining. For the price, maybe not too surprising.
Points off for the unfinished, soft, and easily marred wood comprising the butcher block surround for the granite. They recommend sealing it with mineral oil, which so far has been surprisingly difficult to find---none at the local Lowe's OR Home Depot. What's up with that?
The other drawback is that they don't provide the form-fitting waste container shown in the picture---you have to find one on your own. And as I have discovered, many waste containers are either too small, or half-an-inch too big, to fit in there. Checked Target, KMart, and the aforementioned Home Depot/Lowes---nothing I found was a Perfect Fit. I'm getting by with a container that's smaller than I would like for now, but I'm still looking...

I love this kitchen cart! I wanted to find a trash bin that looked better than my plastic bin. I found this with the added bonus of drawers, butcher block top and shelving in the back too. It was the only kitchen cart that I've ever seen to fit in the small space that I have.
The drawers are really nice and hold office supplies, measuring cups, spoons... The back holds many cans or small items.
Overall, this is a great item and unique.
