The BEST rotary cutting ruler (with one small flaw)Jan 03, 2012

About a year ago, my Olfa, 45mm cutter jumped the edge of the ruler and took a slice of flesh from my left index finger. Luckily, it did not damage bone or nail, but it was mighty close. Needless to say, the Olfa went straight to the trash can. After trying a couple of other products I found TruCut. It not only are the ruler and cutter very safe to use, but the are designed to keep the cutter from wandering, and allow super-accurate cuts.
I would have given the TruCut 6x24" ruler 5 stars, but the inches are numbered from left to right. Perfect for left-handers, but very frustrating for us righties. If I want to make a 1.5" cut, I have to put the 4.5" mark on the left edge of the fabric, and cut along the 6" edge of the ruler. Very frustrating.
HOWEVER - I sent a comment to customer service at TruCut about this issue. Within 10 minutes I had a response!! The have addressed the numbering issue and now number this ruler in both directions!

The TrueCut ruler with Accutrack along with the "my comfort 45mm cutter" is awesome. The cutter stays on the track of the ruler, what a treat.
