All it's advertised to be. Plus I can slip it under a thigh as I quilt to get it to a better stitching height for me. That wasn't mentioned any where in the reviews I have read.

Just received this last week. I had it assembled in about 15 minutes. I am working on a new quilt now and am enjoying quilting again. I can use this hoop while sitting on the couch or recliner and can even take it to the kitchen table. It is very easy to adjust to just the right angle. So much easier to quilt with two hands instead of using one hand to hold up the hoop.
